Summary
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser; “local storage” is a similar browser feature. Quantiko (operated by GALAXICA LLC) uses a handful of strictly necessary cookies set by our sign-in system, and two preference values in local storage. All of them are first-party — they are set by quantiko.com and are not shared with anyone.
Because they are strictly necessary for a service you asked for, or simply remember a choice you made, the EU ePrivacy rules do not require consent for them. That's why we show a short notice rather than a consent banner.
Cookies we set
The name depends on the connection: on the live, HTTPS site the secure variant (with the __Secure- or __Host- prefix) is used. All are HTTP-only (not readable by page scripts) and SameSite=Lax.

No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking
We don't use analytics tools, advertising cookies, social media pixels or any other third-party tracking. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page doesn't send your IP address to a font provider either.
If we ever add analytics or anything else that isn't strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first with a clear choice to accept or decline.
Managing cookies
You can view and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in. Clearing local storage simply resets your theme choice and shows the cookie notice again.
