Known for being quiet and having multiple settings including anti-allergy, the Bosch Series 8 should definitely be on your list.
LG TrueSteam 12KG
While LG may be more well-known for producing TV’s than washing machines, they have a real contender in the TrueSteam. With a large 12KG load, A+++ efficiency rating and minuscule 120kw per year energy usage, This LG model may just make you reconsider your choices. With the same water usage as the Bosch and an impressive noise rating, if 12kg is appropriate for your family then this is a no-brainer.
Zanussi Lindo 300 10KG
This Zanussi Lindo is the wildcard of this list but has adequately earned its place as one of the top 5 most eco-friendly washing machines. While the name may not ring a bell, the machinery on display has a lot of people talking. A+++ efficiency rating, minuscule water usage, large porthole and an array of settings are just a few of the reasons why the Zanussi features on the list. It does however have the largest energy consumption at over 230kw, which may put some people off. Regardless, if you’re looking for an eco-friendly washing machine on a budget, this may be the machine for you.
